Steven Gill is a marine biologist with over 20 years’ experience in the fishing, aquaculture and seafood industries, and significant experience in government and media relations. A graduate of the National Strategic Leadership Program for the Seafood Industry and the Australian Rural Leadership Program, he has held a number of high-profile CEO roles including the Western Rock Lobster Council and the Master Fish Merchants’ Association of Australia.
Steven is currently General Manager of Maxima Opportunity, a family owned business with interests in Pearling and Barramundi Aquaculture. Maxima Opportunity is at the forefront of tropical rock oyster research and development in the Pilbara and Kimberley regions and works in partnership with traditional owners across both regions.
