Having grown up in a small coastal town Hamish is passionate about delivering sustainable growth for the teams he leads, the regional communities they live in, and ultimately investors.
Now based in Hobart, at Tassal, Hamish is the Head of Strategy and Supply Chain responsible for group strategy development and execution. This includes leading over 1,000 employees across the integrated supply chain including, procurement, eight Australian factories, logistics and supply planning and IT teams.
Hamish started his career in finance at KPMG before moving into the food industry holding various commercial and operational management roles at Nestle, Sara Lee and McCain Foods then Tassal. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Newcastle, is a member of CPA Australia and Executive MBA from AGSM@UNSW business school.
